Chloe Williams has secured her first professional career win at the Rose Ladies Series finale, the end of the hugely popular 2021 tournament supported by American Golf.

Chloe, 26, who is a member of both Wrexham Golf Club and Carden Park Golf Club, took home a first prize sum of £20k, after competing at the stunning Bearwood Lakes Golf in Berkshire on Saturday 25th September.

Justin Rose MBE said: “A huge well done to Chloe on winning the grand final this weekend and congratulations to all the winners of the Series. It’s been such an incredible summer of Rose Series events and I cannot thank American Golf enough for their support from day one.”

Chloe, who took up golf at the age of just two years old and has been one to watch on the Ladies European Tour commented: “I feel completely overwhelmed – I can’t believe that I have secured my first professional win at the Rose Ladies Series final. I have been so close to achieving my first professional win many times before and it feels like it’s all been leading up to this.

“Golf is very much in my family, my dad is my coach and has always encouraged me to embrace the overall challenge of the sport, which is one of the things I love so much about it. I’m incredibly lucky to have the job that I have. The amazing places and people that I have met along my journey so far have been unreal and I’m ending this wonderful summer of golf on such a high thanks to the Rose Ladies Series.”

Gary Favell, CEO, American Golf said: “Chloe gave a brilliant performance at this year’s final Rose Ladies Series event, and I would like to extend huge congratulations on behalf of American Golf to her.

“The 2021 Rose Ladies Series has been fantastic from start to finish. The talent that has been showcased event after event has been phenomenal. It demonstrates the success of the Series in encouraging female golfers to rise to the challenge and showcase their skills at a tournament that has fast become a stage everyone wants to be a part of.

“American Golf is passionate about promoting gender inclusivity and breaking down player barriers within the sport and the Rose Ladies Series embodies these values. We wish Chloe every success in her very promising future career.”
